Man Of The World [Studio]

"'Man Of The World' was recorded at the legendary tobacco stained Beck studio in between finishing my first solo album, 'Etiquette Of Violence' and starting work on the 'Crocodile Tears' album. It was pretty spontaneous, I had always loved that song and it's sense of world-weary resignation, I worked it out in the studio at the end of the night. We were about to pack up and go when I asked the engineer to roll the tape and record. I gave myself one take. You can hear my chair squeaking towards the end!"
