"There are two versions of most of these tracks. This came about by accident as I would record my own demo not intending for it to be used but then I realized that the idea of having two versions would reflect the unfortunate bifurcated fait of the Black Dahlia her self. Also, the finished recordings turned out to be significantly different from the original demos and it was interesting to follow the arc of each tracks development. The original demo for 'Pretty' is not included on the CD but will be made available as a download on this site as will several of the featured tracks. Mister Uncertain's vocal sets the perfect old vaudeville mood on the main version."
