"Upon his return from Montreal where Peter completed writing new material for his new album, he made a guest appearance with Arkin Allen aka Mercan Dede on the July 13th at the Babylon Club in Istanbul, Turkey. Guesting with the Tribal Trio, Arkin Allen's jungle/drum & bass outfit at the 7th Istanbul Jazz Festival, Peter premiered 2 brand new compositions at the club - his first ever performance in his home country. The Festival included luminaries such as Ryuichi Sakamoto, Bryan Ferry, Lou Reed and Natacha Atlas amongst others. Such was the reaction to The Tribal Trio event, where Peter's friend Natacha Atlas joined him for an impromptu spiritual vocal reverie on the stage at the end of the show, the Turkish national press and the general feedback of this gig proved to be the most critically acclaimed and talked about of the whole festival.
