"The first time that I met singer/songwriter Renata Youngblood she told me about the time she was approached by two Hollywood impresarios who wanted to groom her for success in the mold of a Britney Spears type. They told her that, although she was twenty three, she could still pass for the desirable seventeen. To her credit, Renata walked away from the deal.
I wrote this for Renata on the same day that I heard the story. When I produced Renata?s debut record, ?The Side Effects Of Owning Skin?, she recorded a great version which may appear on her next record."
