Song: At This Kind Of Wedding
Year: 2002

Versions:
At This Kind Of Wedding - Demo for a movie [Studio]

"In 2002 I was asked to write three songs for the movie, 'Honey Baby' which was based on the myth of Orpheus and the Underworld.
The film's protagonist was a drifter/musician who gets involved with a Russian drug dealer/club owner on his way to rescuing The Girl ( Eurydice ).

All three songs were written in one night. The director, Aki Kaurismaki finally decided that, in the interest of authenticity, he wanted the actor, Henry Thomas, to write the songs which he would be singing.

I never saw the finished film.

They asked for a cynical song about a wedding so that's what what they got!"
