"I think that the center piece, the sapphire jewel in the crown here is the song, 'Indelible Blue' which Ego and I wrote for the wonderful Abby Travis. Apart from delivering a gorgeous torchy vocal performance, Abby also lent a certain finesse to the piano part and was very instrumental in the overall production as well. An interesting aside here, when I was writing the lyric, I was stuck for one line to complete it. I kept getting up from the computer and pacing up and down, returning, blank, getting up again, pacing and so on until it hit me:

"And she's walking on those stars as earthquakes build beneath them"

The next thing I knew, the building was shaking. We had just had, yes, an earthquake!

RIP dear Elizabeth Short."
